My second dinner party!

Owing to the fact I have several kilos of fresh vegetables left I decide last minute to invite Seven and Christine to see my new flat: they agree so I contact Abby and she decides to come too!

As they are vegetarians this is good: so I make a vegetarian menu:

• Gazpacho
• Salad
• New Potato Salad
• Mushrooms wrapped in Lettuce (sadly I make this one hot and it isn't meant to be!)
• Garlic Mushroom Omelette
• Pickles and Bread

Things seem to go well again and I don't have to spend too much time in the kitchen!

However, in a small kitchen it's a challenge to clean up....here is the usual disaster zone!

Amazingly and somewhat embarrassingly I find myself ejected from my own kitchen by the ladies who do all the washing up! I've resisted this before but it seems to be something of a custom in China, plus I was only too happy to go along with it for once!
